Mills
Our mills are equipped with a pneumatic lifting device for the lid. Modern design methods allow for cyclone collectors to operate at high efficiency and recovery rates of 98% and better are standard.
Depending on the requirements of a product free of fines, an efficient 2nd cyclone classifier instead of a cyclone collector can be delivered, provide for a more complete separation of ultra-fine particles from the desired product.
Technical overview
The performance figures are of course only approximate and depend on the desired particle size distribution, type of formulation, mill configuration, and other parameters. We encourage interested parties to conduct process trials in our partner’s facility to gain better assurance.
The following features are included
• Good particle size distribution.
• Good control over particle size distribution via adjustable speeds of classificatory, rotor, and fan.
• Efficient capture of fines for the overall process yield of 98%.
• Great flexibility in the layout of the system. Cyclone classifier, dual cyclone, and other options are available.
• Own design for additive feeding. Different entry points into the system are possible. Gravimetric feeding is possible.
• Pneumatic support for the lifting of the lid is possible.
• Easy to clean.
